What will you do?
As a Data Scientist in kompasbank, you will become part of our core tech team with +20 talented employees. You will be assigned to a smaller squad with 4 #navigators who are dedicated to work with data insights, model development and data-driven decision-making supporting the organisation.
On a daily basis you will get to work with various tasks such as:
Develop and deploy end-to-end data science solutions tailored to business needs.
Act as data ambassador and collaborate with different stakeholders across the organisation.
Work with a cross-functional team to create and maintain analysis-friendly data sets and dashboards.
Communicate and document complex data topics and findings in a comprehensible manner to non-technical stakeholders.
Play an active role in setting and documenting standards and best practices for data science in kompasbank.
We are looking for a data-driven person who is skilled at simplifying complex data topics. It does not hurt if you are curious about new data trends and detail-oriented with the ability to prioritise important data and tasks.
In addition you may have 2-5 years of experience in a data-centric role and experience within some of the following areas:
Python programming for data analysis and model development.
SQL or similar languages for data extraction and manipulation.
Machine learning methodologies including regression, classification, supervised, and semi-supervised learning.
Data visualisation tools.
IRB model development and documentation.
Banking and financial analysis.
