kompasbank strengthens product and platform development with two senior profiles

Danmark’s newest business bank, kompasbank, which has developed its own digital infrastructure to deliver faster and better financing to small and medium-sized enterprises, is bringing on board two senior profiles from PFA and BEC to bolster the bank’s product and platform development.

kompasbank, which distinguishes itself from existing Danish banks by having built its own cloud-based infrastructure, has hired Niels Bo as Senior Software Engineer and Anders Ahle as Senior Product Specialist. Both senior profiles bring extensive experience from finance, IT, and fintech, and will enhance kompasbank's focus on further developing its platform and product portfolio.

Anders Ahle (44) is set to join kompasbank as Senior Product Specialist from August 10. Anders brings over 15 years of experience as a team leader, investment advisor, and product manager from Nordea. Most recently, Anders served as Senior Investment Specialist at PFA for over four years and holds a cand.polit degree from the University of Copenhagen.

Niels Bo (57) will join kompasbank as Senior Software Engineer from September 15. Niels Bo has over 30 years of experience as an IT developer and architect, as well as a leader and consultant at companies such as Nordea and IBM. Most recently, he was an Enterprise Architect at BEC Financial Technologies. Prior to that, Niels served as Chief IT Developer & Architect at Nordea and holds a master’s degree in Computer Science from DTU.
