kompasbank and Crediwire join forces to deliver better financial experiences to SMEs
Denmark’s new business bank, kompasbank, strengthens its team with two new Business Advisors from Danske Bank. The new hires will advise the bank’s clients in Greater Copenhagen and North Zealand.
kompasbank, which facilitates easier access to financing for Danish small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), continues its growth by bringing on board Patrick Christian Folmann Ørngreen and Rasmus Garnell from Danske Bank. “If small and medium-sized enterprises cannot access the financing and capital they need to support their growth ambitions, we as a society miss out on both growth and many new jobs. By offering tailored financing solutions quickly and based on highly industry-specific advice, we can help the many ambitious Danish businesses realise their full potential,” says Michael Hurup Andersen, Founder & Co-CEO of kompasbank, and continues: “I am pleased that our already strong team of business relationship managers is expanding with these two new professionals, allowing us to continue meeting the growing interest in our concept with speed and expert advice.” kompasbank offers business loans ranging from DKK 1-10 million to the SME segment and addresses the challenges that small and medium-sized enterprises might face with established banks regarding speed and service for securing business loans for capital investments or other growth initiatives. Patrick Christian Folmann Ørngreen (32) will join kompasbank as a business relationship manager for Greater Copenhagen from 1 October. Patrick brings nearly 10 years of experience from private and business roles at Danske Bank, most recently as a Nordic Growth Relationship Manager specialising in rapidly growing companies. Patrick holds an HD in Financial Advisory from Copenhagen Business School. Rasmus Garnell (43) will join kompasbank as a business relationship manager for North Zealand from 1 November. Rasmus brings over 19 years of experience from Danske Bank, most recently as a Relationship Manager in Hillerød. Rasmus also holds an HD in Financial Advisory from Copenhagen Business School. The two new Business Advisors will be responsible for credit assessments, advising, and building their own client portfolios of small and medium-sized enterprises seeking loans in the range of DKK 1-10 million.
