For three generations, Goldsmith Boye has delivered specially designed jewelry and branded products to anyone looking for something special. Goldsmith Boye started with a single workshop in Viby back in 1946, but today consists of two stores in Aarhus and Silkeborg and a webshop.

Amero has delivered a complete FlexPOS solution to Guldsmed Boye's stores in Aarhus and Silkeborg as the owner of the store, Lars Boye, wanted to implement a new cash register system that would be user-friendly, be able to communicate with the store's webshop and financial system (e-conomic ), and which could work between the two stores, so that, for example, storage and moving goods would work without problems.

User-friendliness was in focus, as the employees in the store should easily be able to familiarize themselves with the system and handle products, gift cards, returns, etc. – and Amero's POS solution proved to be very much so.

"The girls find it easy to use the cash system and the back end, so you can adjust goods and move goods between stores without experiencing a lot of hassle or paperwork. You can almost just press a button, and it works. Anyone can use it – and that's important," says Lars Boye, owner of Guldsmed Boye.

At Guldsmed Boye, they, therefore, also experience many advantages from using Amero's BackOffice solution in their everyday lives, which is the program (backend) that controls what functions cash register systems have. Among other things, it allows you to create new items that after a short moment can be seen at the checkouts in the store after a short moment. At the same time, it makes it super easy to put items in stock and manage pricing, promotions, discounts, and gift cards.

In addition, the POS systems are also connected to the store's webshop, which means that they can optimize their inventory management.

Simple integration to both webshop and e-conomic

Before they at Guldsmed Boye integrated Amero's FlexPOS solution, Lars Boye experienced that webshop integrations were complex and could not do what they should.

At Amero, they talked to him about the need to connect the two stores' cash register system to the webshop built up in Magneto 2. It was also crucial for Lars that the system work optimally, as there are often helpers in the store who must be able to be inserted quickly into the system.

In addition to the integration to the webshop, Guldsmed Boye also uses Amero's integration to e-conomic, which is an integration that saves them a lot of time when the stores' daily statements are exported directly into e-conomic.

Furthermore, with the integration, it is possible to split payments into different accounts, and there is even the possibility of doing automatic bookkeeping, so employees can now quickly turn various expenses and outlays into the checkout so that the daily statement matches the end of the day.

Customer support picks up the phone instantly

Another crucial element for Lars Boye in selecting a new cash register system was that there should be good support so that the girls in the store always have the opportunity to call for help. And he finds that they can do that at Amero.

"At Amero, we met an understanding of the importance of the webshop and the POS system working together. It's a system that works – and there's good support. I have to say that. There is an answer as soon as you call. If they can, they solve the problem immediately, and otherwise, they will return quickly," says Lars Boye, owner of Guldsmed Boye.
