kompasbank raises €5.5 million
kompasbank has been named the number one company on the inaugural Sifted 75: Nordic & Benelux Leaderboard, which ranks the 75 fastest-growing businesses across eight countries in the regions.
With a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 1,149.73% from 2021 to 2023, kompasbank secures the top spot on this brand-new list, which highlights the fastest-growing startups and scaleups in Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, and Sweden.
The ranking is based on revenue growth over the past three fiscal years and celebrates companies that have shown remarkable progress, with the majority of their revenue derived from internally developed, self proprietary technology.
Danish companies dominate the top 5, with kompasbank in first place, Klimate in second and Dynelectro in fifth. The list also includes other Danish companies such as Anyday.io, Lunar, Pleo and Viggo.
The Sifted 75 ranking highlights businesses known for their innovative solutions, setting new standards within their respective industries.
kompasbank is recognized for its dedicated focus on the SME segment—often overlooked by traditional banks—and its ability to create products and services that help SME owners manage their businesses more efficiently and unlock their full growth potential.
"We are proud to be featured in Sifted’s analysis and see this top ranking as a strong acknowledgment of our platform and our commitment to supporting Danish and European SMEs. Our growth reflects the team’s ability to develop solutions and services that meet and address our customers’ needs," says Michael Hurup Andersen, founder and CEO of kompasbank.
With this top placement, kompasbank solidifies its position as a key player in the Danish and European fintech and banking sectors.
