Interest rates and fees for private customers

As a private customer at kompasbank, you will not experience any unforeseen expenses. You get secure savings with a good interest rate.

At kompasbank, our private customers always receive a good interest rate on their deposits. Here you can see the current interest rates for our deposit accounts:

  • KOMPAS FIXED 6 MONTHS – 1.60% nominal annual interest rate

  • KOMPAS FIXED 12 MONTHS – 1.70% nominal annual interest rate

  • KOMPAS FIXED 18 MONTHS – 1.65% nominal annual interest rate

  • KOMPAS FIXED 24 MONTHS – 1.55% nominal annual interest rate

  • KOMPAS FIXED 36 MONTHS – 1.40% nominal annual interest rate

  • KOMPAS VARIABLE – 1.60% nominal annual interest rate

  • KOMPAS BASIS – 0.50% nominal annual interest rate

The interest is credited annually and at the end of the binding period.

You pay no fees with us – only if you choose to withdraw your deposit early will we apply a deduction (a reduction). The deduction rate is calculated based on the remaining term and the nominal interest rate on your savings, where the nominal interest rate is the rate applicable to your savings.

KOMPAS FAST

  • Deduction for a remaining term up to 12 months: The nominal interest rate

  • Deduction for a remaining term between 12-24 months: The nominal interest rate + 1%

  • Deduction for the remaining term over 24 months: The nominal interest rate + 2%

KOMPAS VARIABLE

  • The deduction is 1% + nominal interest rate (notice period of 31 days). You only need to pay the deduction if you wish to have the money paid to your NemKonto within 31 days after termination.

KOMPAS BASIS

  • No deduction.

Example of how the deduction rate is calculated:

For a savings of DKK 200,000 with a nominal interest rate of 1.25% and a 36-month binding period. After 20 months, the savings are desired to be closed. The deduction will then be 1.25% + 1% = 2.25% of DKK 200,000 (i.e., DKK 4,500). You will receive interest from the deposit date to the payout date.

The above deduction rates apply from June 15, 2023. Deduction rates for savings accounts opened before June 15, 2023, will be stated in the account agreement at the time of account creation.
